So, I don't know what you guys think of this idea, but I thought I'd pitch it anyway. I think it would be awesome to have some tabs of your songs. I personally play guitar, and I'm absolutely horrible of learning a song by ear. So I think a tab would be a totally sweet idea. And don't just limit it to guitar, bass tabs and drum tabs would be just as epic.
I mean, it's cool if for whatever reason you're not comfortable with posting your awesome riffs up. I think the most obvious reason would be that it's a pain in the ass to tab it out. =P
Anyway, in the meantime, discuss awesome Megas riffs that you just love. And perhaps share video game riffs you guys know.
Personally, almost all of the drums in Crashman are something I'm hugely interested in. Oh, and the bassline for Heatman, it's ridiculous. Also, Airman solo, even though I just realized that there's tapping in it. The Megas shred.

Hm.
This information could also be used to generate hacked custom charts for Rock Band. I'm sure that if that's not currently possible to do, it eventually will be. Beneficial side effect!

I've already asked, Greg said they don't have tabs- that they did it all by ear. However, that was almost a year ago. Although... we could get a group of people on here to write out tabs for them, since they like, have a bunch of shows and a new album to work on.

So it's settled- we are going to write the tabs! We just need to know if there's any special tuning.
I call fate forged in steel. >_>

Nope, everything is in standard tuning, with the exception being that the bass line in Heatman is effected to drop it one octave. The way I play it it starts on E string, 10th fret.

Well given I havent got the album yet(waiting for a credit card) I wont be able to do anything other than the ones on myspace, Ive got a pretty good ear so i can usually work something out straight away unless it like an arpeggio or something, they just screw with my head.
So does anyone use Guitar Pro cos I could tab it out in that?
Also on another note, what instrument do all you guys play, I play Guitar and Im guessin most of us do given it popularity

Hawt. That's my favorite bass line. <3
I have Power Tab, I can get Guitar Pro though if it's better.
EDIT: Like I said, I can't learn anything by ear, but this is what I got out of it.
G|-------------------------------------------------------
D|--------12-----11-10-----12-------------------------
A|----------------------------------12---11----10-9-8-
E|-10-10------------------------------------------------
Just the first line, I have to tab out the second line to finish it, and then the sweet bass line that enters into the vocals. I had more notes on the 10th fret of the E alternating between each note, but that's when I realized that note wasn't there. I think. Anyway, that's what I got so far. I'm gonna keep working on it.

Ah, I always stick to a certain string more than I should instead of dropping a note to make it easier for me. XD It would have been worse when I did the lower line. =| Thanks Greg! =D

I'd love to learn the bass for Flashman.

If we're really to get this done, we need to figure out who's doing what.
