I'm posting this thread to see if there are any like minded people out there, or if you just want to argue about giving a fuck about something that you think is awesome. I just don't have the patience to give certain things a chance. I'm focusing more on tv shows, books, game genres, etc. I usually give most movies a chance (unless they're directed by Terry Gilliam).

But for some reason, friends, family members, add campaigns, and random people talking in public spaces seem to talk about things that I just don't want to give a fuck about.

Among this list, there is not one fuck that I give:

-The Harry Potter Series:
I read the first couple of books when I was young, but when I hit 9th grade I realized they were stupid and ridiculous. I try to avoid the books and movies as topics, but their popularity makes this impossible. I just don't get how British kids waving sticks at each other could be cool.

-Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy:
I haven't read it, and I'm not going to. Ever.

-Glee:
I don't give a fuck about singing and dancing. That's pretty much what this show sounds like. It's become very popular among my friends and family. People are always praising it, but my feelings boiling to this.

That's all I got for the moment. Anyone else feels like not eating green eggs and ham?

It goes against my rules to not give things a try at the least. It it attracts my attention and looks worthwhile or at least people tell me it's worthwhile, I give it a shot. Goes for movies, goes for books, goes for music, goes for drugs, goes for food.

Ever heard of 2C-E? Me neither, but I'm gonna snort it 'cause my friend said it's fun. I'm going to form my opinion based off of facts gathered from experience.

Does it have to be snorted? If you find it enjoyable, and there is a way besides snorting and injecting, I'd probably be down to try it.

It acts pretty much immediately if you snort it. Everything I've read about it says orally, but it takes longer to kick in. It's supposed to burn like a motherfucker snorted, though. I might just eat it.
