Before I saw the name, I thought it would be some kind of really mature kick ass mm fps. But now i'm thinking more of a mega man crossover fighting game.

It would either be a Metroid Prime ripoff or a Halo ripoff, and neither one would be that great, or original.
FPSs aren't rad, and they're hardly ever "new", for that matter. I also don't think anybody would really identify with it, and the series would lose almost all of it's visual charm.
A mature Mega Man would be flat out stupid and overdone, guaranteed. What would make it mature? Language? Unless Mega Man starts killing PEOPLE, there wouldn't be blood or gore to speak of. X is about as "mature" as MM is ever going to get.

The first person style works for Metroid because that series is all about exploration and finding secrets and powerups to be able to explore even more areas. That carries over in the Prime games.
That's not how Mega Man works. It's a straight forward "go through level, kill enemies, fight boss" platformer that would be flat out retarded in first person. Legends is the closest you're ever going to get to that.
also zero is pretty mature compared to the other games...
