Up to 4-players! http://www.themegas.com/megasarmy/viewt ... t=emulatorJust sayin'. An actual 8-bit ROM hack would be even better, but I can't be bothered to actually try that right now, hah. That's super cool. Too bad I'm too lazy right now to download it on the Windows partition of my Mac.
A Rom Hack would be sweet. I wish I knew a little bit more about what would go on in there.
EDIT: Also, is this the only NES version of Megas sounds that this guy is going to do, or will he do the whole album?

It seemed like, from the description, that it'd be the only one...but Megas, encourage this guy to do the whole thing.
A bunch of rabid Megas fans would buy it in a heartbeat.
Myself included.

Can we queue up a Gregorian chant version after the 8-bit demakes?

Now someone needs to make actual chiptune versions of each Megas track so they can be used in a Mega Man 2 ROM.

This sounds like a call to Kalzone if there ever was one

They'd just be rearranged versions of the songs that are already there, with pixel-solos thrown in.
As much as I argue with Fox about chiptunes (I'm usually for them, while he hates them) even I think that's a little too much.
And thus there were cries of "OMG NEVER ENUFF MEGAS UR BLASFEMUR NOT A REAAAAL FAN NERRR"

That's why I did that whole link to Metalman's theme thing.

I'd want just the instrumental versions of the songs more than chiptune remakes.

Nah, one plug per thread is my limit, especially when I'm basically responding to an identical post.
