I didn't realize or particularly care that I was/wasn't an officer. If someone wants to go ahead and do that for me, cool, but I probably won't be very active in it. If I want to talk to you guys, here is the place to do it.

Nobody is active in it. It's almost solely used to keep track of forum members on facebook and to link them to their user names.
I think being an officer just means being able to edit the group info.
