The Rock Band Network Beta is now open. The basic gist is it allows artists to submit their own songs to be playable in Rock Band and they receive royalties for any tracks bought. Here's the announcement for anyone who wants more info:

If The Megas are unfamiliar with XNA or simply want the work to be done by professionals, then this is worth checking out.

...wait does the wii version get DLC?

Wii can do DLC. If not on Rock Band, then on Rock Band 2, I know.

Supposedly some friends of ours are working on a couple songs for this... no idea if they're ready/when they'd be up yet, though. Definitely looking forward to trying out Mikey's drum parts, though!

I have a creator's club account....but my copy of Rock Band is for PS3, so it wouldn't do a lot of good.

I bought Mordecai by Between the Buried and Me on Rock Band Network today.
As soon as we get some Megas up in that shit, I'm going to be the happiest little schoolgirl ever.
