Okay so I know that most of you apparently don't care NEARLY as much as I do about Mega64 (as evidenced by the fact that the past 3 pages have been 90% me posting) so to make sure you guys know about it more than 10 minutes beforehand, I'm going to make a preemptive plug:
In the fourth annual Mega64 Christmascast, this Sunday, at 7PM PST (That's 8 MST, 9 CST, and 10 EST; the rest of you can figure it out for yourselves) the Mega64 crew will each select a different food or drink and try to eat and drink as much of it as possible in what has become a yearly tradition. Will there be debauchery? Will there be grossness? Will there be vomiting? If the past 3 years is any indication, yes.
(srsly watch podcast 78 it's fucking amazing and it's probably a good prep for this year)

I think their exaggerating the general distaste for motion controls.
I don't like motion controls, but apparently there's room for more than one market in gaming; a hardcore/enthusiast market, and a casual/uninformed market. I still think motion controls (along with 3D)) are mostly used to trick the populace into creating a demand for pointless innovations.
