Normal DND is better IMO. If they're giving away the actual game for free too, I could see about joining in when I have free time.

Does this take anywhere near as long as regular DnD, and do you have to make up your own story and shit? Because if not, I might give it a go. I was at a friend's house when him and a bunch of other friends played DnD, they were going for like 8 or 9 hours while I played Mercenaries on his PS2.

Seems like a good opportunity to try out D&D seriously. The first time I tried it with friends, we suffered from a severe case of "ur doin it rong".
