I don't know why our other music thread is in the Megas Discussion section.

I've recently re-discovered the glory of shuffle. I normally don't let my music player just run, since I always seem to be in a very specific mood regarding what I want to hear. But it's been fun just letting the music flow where it will. Obviously, I get a much more interesting and diverse mix.

I decided that I really liked Cowbox's shuffle idea, but I thought that it would add too much clutter to an already convoluted thread. Not to mention, that one seems dedicated mostly to promoting (and consequently bashing) music, and adding shuffle to that mix would just create mass chaos.

So instead of trying to talk about how much we love X band/song and why, let's just sit back, flip the shuffle switch, list the next 5 songs that come up (we don't need your entire playlist), and enjoy the ride.

EDIT: Links appreciated.

Why has no one gotten the Ref yet? I can't have been the only one.

I know C. Fox didn't stipulate this but could you please provide links to your songs? I know it can be a hassle but it's easier to check out your selections if you provide the means to do so.

HOW DARE YOU STEAL MY IDEA AND MAKE YOUR OWN THREAD WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. YOU'LL BE HEARING FROM MY LAWYER.

In the meanwhile, here's give more songs from yours truly:

Thin Lizzy - Cowboy Song
Silversun Pickups - Well Thought Out Twinkles
Artic Monkeys - D is for Dangerous
Matthew Good - Alert Status Red
The Sword - The Black River

Shuffle's been treating me so god damn good tonight. I could have made like 10 of these with all great songs.

It takes some willpower to take your finger off the "Next Song" button, but once you let shuffle do its thing, you earn an auditory treat.
