I'm not making a list, being that I couldn't choose only a handful of bands were I to get started... But I will say that I can go from listening to Enya to rocking out with Blind Guardian in the same sitting XD
Variety ftw.
Right now? In the mood for some Vertical Horizon, big time.

I love it, its pretty much what people have been waiting for, but with that said, I like all of Metallica's albums bar St anger, i mean there were only like two slightly good songs on there.

Yeah, I was addicted to it for a few weeks, it's amazing. I was fully convinced it would suck ass, but I was proven wrong and I'm fine with that.

Really, what made you think that. When I heard "The Day that Never Comes" and "Cyanide" on their myspace page I almost wet myself.
Hey heres a little fact,(which you prolly already know) But on the doco "Some kind of monster" when the guys are writing songs you hear James singing the chorus to "Cyanide", the first time I heard the song on their myspace I as like "Why the fuck is this song so familiar. well there you go, that'll be $20

Well I'm not even that huge of a Metallica fan, I haven't extensively listened to them until recently, but I knew how bad their last three albums were and I wasn't expecting this one to be much better. I hadn't heard any of the songs on DM beforehand, but when I did listen to it I was blown away at how much better it was than just about everything since Bob Rock started producing their stuff.
With the exception of The Unforgiven III the entire album is just about perfect Thrash.

Totally agree on the Unforgiven III(what a disapointment). I liked both Load and ReLoad and I dont believe bob rock destroyed the band as everyone says. I think Its stupid if a band just stayed the same forever, they have to remain fresh but still retain what they started with and I reckon Death Magnetic is exactly that. It reminds me so much of "..and Justice for All" but has that new metallica flavour to it.
Oh and Im a HUUUGGEEE!!! fan
