Dunno if it'd be the same in music, but I always found that tutoring helps, if you have the time. By this, I of course mean being a tutor; sometimes helping someone else understand something makes the whole thing slightly more bearable. Other than that, I can only suggest using class time to bolster other skills.

Yeah, I wish I could, but when I say I'm ahead (without sounding pretentious) it's by leaps and bounds.
So these guys don't even grasp the concept of work ethic. Ugh.
I'll just bring my DS and play in class. Hahahahaha

Got transferred to a different Walgreens started my first day of work yesterday. Only problem? The reason I got the full time position was because the guy that was there came down with appendicitis and something happened and all I know is he's on life support and it's only a matter of time. To make matters worse, when I came in, everybody was looking at me with a disturbed look on their face because I look like the guy. Man I feel like shit even though I had nothing to do with it.
Other than that, my boss told me they were looking for a head photo tech, but weren't sure if I had the credentials for it. Well, from what I learned in that one day is everyone else in the photo department only knows how to print the photos, which is as simple as clicking PRINT on with a mouse. No one knows how to fix any of the equipment or even preform weekly maintenance. I'm sure I sounded like an asshole when I pointed this out on my first day of work, but isn't that kinda common knowledge you should know if you work there? I feel like I'm going to be teaching a lot stuff to them over the next few months.

My gf's dad went into surgery today for esophageal cancer, but they stopped the surgery because they said the cancer had spread and it was stage 4. This makes me a little mad because he'd been doing chemo and they said it was contained enough to do surgery. So how the hell did they not figure that out before he went under the knife.
