I am stoked, though not an avid reader of the Sonic Archie series i'm am a HUGE fan of Archie Mega Man and I am currently geeking out. LOOK AT THAT PICTURE WITH BASS AND SHADOW, PROTO MAN AND KNUCKLES. HOLY SHIT. This is going to be awesome.

I stopped reading the Archie Sonics around issue 70 or so... but this is definitely something I'm not going to miss.

I'm not sure how I feel about this. The Megaman comic started off really strongly and it's been going well, but its current arc just feels... weak. And with the inclusion of new characters, I've been worried for its future for awhile. I don't want it to turn into what Sonic did.

That said, I'm very interested at the very least. Robotnik + Robot boys is an awesome idea, and Bass and Shadow can go suck each other off in the corner.

I figured something like this would happen. Especially with the announcement of Project X Zone. Twelve issues, but it seems they're going to move the story between Sonic, Sonic Universe, and Mega Man. If that's true, then there goes more of my money. =/

I don't know if anyone's been paying attention to the new Sonic fanfilm, but it's slated for a summer 2012 release. I can't wait. I don't expect the cgi to be crazy awesome, but just Sonic having the voice of Jaheel White is enough to make my day. Some people didn't like Eddie Labron's version of Mega Man, but I enjoyed it, especially for a fan film. He put a lot of time into it and it shows. Though I really did wonder if Roll was a chick or a guy...

I was actually JUST thinking of this today, without knowing it was a real thing. My mental image was something like eggman and wily sitting defeated in a coffee shop together, twirling their respective mustaches and wonderingvwhy they never win. Then, they have a lightbulb moment when they realize their nemeses have the same weakness... Spikes.
