Whatever happened to the day when you could rent a game from the damn store, pop it in, and be able to play online? Seems like every game I rent because I want to play online makes me have to have a friggin pass code (ie Uplay and EA). And the price to buy a pass code is such a fucking rip. I wanted to play Ghost Recon Future Soldier and the pass code was ten fucking dollars, that's more than I paid to rent the damn game!

I hated myself for actually paying for Mass Effect 3's online pass, but damnit all if I wanted to improve that overall readiness percentage. EA is really getting hardcore with this policy of making people pay to play online @_@

I need to be playing Mega Man 3... but, alas, I don't have it.

But I also have the advantage of having my Wii hacked. Making experiencing old games much more stream-line than on a PC. What with more classic controls and all. I've been playing Sonic 1 and 2. And I gotta say. I thought Sonic was lame aside from Adventure 2. But once you get good enough to get past Marble Zone and Chemical Zone (in their respective games. 1 and 2) They're really a lot of fun.

CDinkel91 wrote: Should I pick up all 3 metroid primes for 15 bucks? Hell yes. Buying the Trilogy was one of the smartest things I ever did. The controls work really well and if you ever liked a 2D Metroid, you're going to love Primes. People like to complain about 2 a lot, but you have to build up to it. Imagine playing Super Metroid for the first time (if you haven't already played it) and how confusing it would be after having played games like Super Mario World and Sonic and shit. A map you have to navigate and keep opening and backtracking in is very new and confusing and it's a totally differently paced game than most things on the gaming market at its time. The next step up from that is Prime. Again you have a huge map that you have to navigate to locate gates you can use once acquiring a new weapon, planning routes out many rooms ahead of time, but in Prime the entire map is in three dimensions. It is almost absurd to think about it from and outside perspective-you looking at and rotating a 3D map to find a room several minutes away that you need to go to. You become a navigator or 3D space with a 3D map which is something that we just... never get. Then in Prime 2, you navigate a 3D map you must turn and twist and plan ahead in, but now there are TWO versions of it, where portals to the other are only located in certain areas. You must plan where to go in the light to enter the dark world in a certain spot so that you may navigate to a room, sometimes even IN the light world. It is kind of baffling. People like to complain about dying a lot in the dark world, but if you plan ahead and pick off enemies from far away, it's not so bad. Boss battles can be intense but I didn't die much playing it and I'm no Metroid perfectionist. The Wii-controls work really well for the Prime series and I kept hoping Nintendo would codevelop FPSes for the Wii with third parties to get them up to that standard. Seriously the best motion-controlled FPS. Prime 3 was built for it, and the Wiimote controls allow you do move a lot more quickly and aim agilely than before, so it's hectic. Then Prime 3's first two hours is just an explosion of "WHAT DA FUUUUUUUUUUUUACK." It's so good. In short, you should get the three Prime games even if it's $50.
