Somethimes I like to think Halo is really overated, just because of the fucking title. Combat Evolved? How long has 007 been out?

I never had an N64, so I don't even know how you'd control a shooter with one analog.

Halo did quite a few things for consoles, but mostly it focused shooters into something that's primarily about the analogs and shoulder buttons. I couldn't tell you why it's as popular as it is, but I can say why people stick by it. Halo multiplayer is a little like a sport in how it breaks down. You get two guns, some grenades, and melee all at immediate offensive use and to be an effective player you need to be able to use all of them. Also kickass vehicles and lasers.

Ocarina of Time. Majora's Mask is leaps and bounds better in pretty much every way. Graphics, gameplay, story, difficulty (Not that hard. But only Zelda that actually gave me trouble in a 3-heart challenge), and especially story. True, there isn't much to it. But I think they put a lot of meaning into it.

I also feel CoD is overrated. Simply because shooters are flooding the market and CoD does the least to bring new things to the table. If I'm gonna play a shooter I'm going to play a semi-original one like Left 4 Dead.
