So I have a four year old 26 inch Sanyo tv. Today the picture went out. I still have sound, just no picture. I'm gonna see if it can be repaired, but if it can't and I need a new tv I want all of your opinions on it. I wanna know what you guys think would be a good tv for me. I regularly play my PS3 and Wii on the same tv and have directv. My size limit is 26 inches though. What do you fellows think would be good for me? I only turn to you because you all seem...reliable in this area.

The only TV I've ever bought myself is a 32 inch Insignia LCD, and it's been doing fine for the last 3 or so years, so I'd say give them a once-over and see if maybe I'm just lucky and they're actually not a good brand.
I do use a smaller TV that's about the size of a computer monitor instead of an actual monitor though, and it's an Emerson.

I just use whatever TV gets handed down to me, personally.

I have a 46inch wide screen Insignia. Thing is awesome.
Why are you limiting yourself to 26, out of curiosity?

I'm limiting myself to 26 because it's a tiny ass corner that I put the tv in. I have absolutely nowhere else to put it in my room. 26 inches barely fits it. I was thinking about getting the Playstation tv, but I'm still torn over what to get.

Is a wall mount an option?

Build a stand to hold the TV in place out of LEGOs

I would totally do that if I had the expertise. It probably doesn't take much, but I don't have that much...

Bro, it's LEGOS. You don't need a degree to use them.

Even if you don't need a degree to use them, my room doesn't have much room. Most of my floor space is taken up by my giant computer desk. The rest of the floor space is taken up by shelves and a twin bed. My room is tiny for someone of my stature. I think I'm gonna do without a tv for a while and just find a job and get some money. It'll take a while, but I can wait. I still need to find a good tv though. I'd like to find one that's 26, but has 1080p instead of 1080i. My old one had 1080i and that playstation tv has 1080p so as of right now it looks like that'll be the tv I get, unless something else catches my eye.

Well I had a 19" Sanyo that I had for two years, went through a whole year in Iraq, and had it another two years before I had to pawn it off to pay the rent. I was sad to see that little guy leave. Guess that's why I bought a 32" Sanyo later on when I had the cash.
