I played the first Dark Cloud up until the very very last dungeon and broke the only good weapon I had for Ungaga in his character-specific section. I never used him ever and the only other weapon I had for him was a default weapon and I hadn't saved in a long time so I was just all "welp" and didn't play it again after that.

I played up until the final dungeon and then ended up wiping my entire memory card because of some viewtiful joe demo disc that would do that for some reason. I've replayed the game a few times since then, but still have never actually finished it.

I just beat Final Fantasy XIII-2.
That was not at all the ending I expected.

That was not at all the ending I expected. I've got a habit of reading the ending to games before actually playing them. It's for that reason I decided to not buy FFXIII-2 until they give us an expanded ending or just announce FFXIII-3.

Oh by no means was it something that made me regret getting the game. I had a great time with it (apart from a few irritating spots). I was just caught off guard with what happened. I'll avoid spoilers in case anybody actually gives a shit, but it's a cliffhanger with a "TO BE CONTINUED" at the end. I don't know how they can possibly resolve what happened in that ending with DLC so I'm just going to assume they're going through with making Final Fantasy XIII-3.
And honestly I'm kind of excited.

Well Golden Sun was a "Alright this is the halfway point of the journey... oh, the game's over. Welp." This feels like a complete adventure/story, but the results of your actions after the "conclusion" that lead into the cliffhanger are fucking crazy.
Basically, you stopped the bad guy from doing a bad thing, but that just means an entirely different, yet alluded to, bad thing happens.

I know how things go down in the "true" ending. Knowing it, and not liking the fact it doesn't conlude the story, is what prevented me from getting the game until they confirm new ending DLC, like ME3 is apparently doing now, or announce FFXIII-3. When they do that stuff I'll look for the game. Probably good that I waited cause I didn't have the money to buy it when it first came out and maybe by the time another one is announced the price will have gone way down. On another note, anyone else looking forward to getting an english release of FF Type-0?

Not playing a game based on it having a cliffhanger ending is kind of dumb to me but whatever. I waited until it was $25, which it's probably already gotten cheaper than at this point.

For FFXIII-2 I just wanna get the story over with instead of having to wait however long it's gonna take for them to resolve that ending. If it was really the end, then I would just imagine how the rest of everything went down. Lightning was back to normal, kicked some ass, The End. That's not how it is though. Soon as they announce FFXIII-3 or some new ending dlc then I'll buy FFXIII-2. Right now though I'm just patiently awaiting the stateside release of FF Type-0 and FF VersusXIII.

My only complaint about Xenoblade Chronicles is that their is a noticeable loading time to bring up the map or your menus, it's not terribly long, probably 3-5 seconds, but it's long enough that it's annoying.
Other than that the game is fantastic.

The lack of loading times when you quick travel makes up for that, to me.
