Recently finished all of King of Bandit Jing and Angel Beats.

The former was thoroughly entertaining, but was a bit lacking in substance, and the latter is just brilliant - Five stars.

I just finished Chrono Crusade the other day. Goddamn the ending is so sad

Other anime on my to watch list:

Trigun- On episode 15 right now. Am I the only one who finds it funny how Cowboy Bebop sounds like an old western yet takes place in the future, while Trigun sounds all futuristic yet is an old western?

Fist of the North Star- I'm on episode 15 so far and... it's fucking awesome! Seriously, Kenshiro is badass.
Proof: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s9jbI6Xab_w
Also, did anybody else get into the series because of WeeklyDubShow's dub of the North Star?

Sgt. Frog- EXTREMELY underrated, I saw like 3 episodes and then I was hooked. The jokes are often quite clever, the frogs are awesome, and the references rarely if ever feel forced and just thrown in so that the viewers would be like "Hey, I like that show so the fact that this show referenced it makes this show awesome!", unlike a certain cartoon...
*Cough* Family Guy *Cough*

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood- Here in Canada, this is pretty much the only good anime that comes on BellTV, but since it's my favorite show of all time, I watch the show every chance I get. Even though I've already seen the original series, read the manga and seen Brotherhood twice. For each series.

Death Note- I've seen the English dub and read the manga, but since Netflix has the subtitled Japanese version, I'm watching the series on Netflix because I'm such a hardcore fan I like watching the English AND Japanese dubs.
Also, I find the potato chip scene highly disappointing in the Japanese version. Oh well :(

Black Heaven- Yes, that 10 episode series everybody remembers for the worst black guy in anime history. I'm on the last episode of the dub and... it's actually WAY better than the Japanese version
Don't believe me? Here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NPp3nl6JmiQ

Haruhi Suzumiya- A show that I checked out due to repeated references in Lucky Star. It's pretty cool so far (Am on episode 3), but I have more important shows right now. To be finished later...

Berserk- To be started after I'm done with Trigun.

Rurouni Kenshin- Also to be started after I'm done with Trigun.

And many more, this is just the top of my bucket list.

P.S. Yu Yu Hakusho>Dragon Ball Z. There, I said it.

Redline was good from a holy shit that looks amazing point of view, but it was kinda meh on the story.

So pretty much the perfect movie to watch with my friends while drinking.

To me Redline's story was good. In a way that it's so simplistic it's awesome. Plus all the batshit insane characters and awesome music. And of course JP's amazing hair.

Fun fact: In the Japanese version, Tao is called Tao Pai Pai, and Pai Pai means "breasts" in Japanese or something. This was lampshaded when one villager was told Tao Pai Pai's name and remarked "Are you kidding? That's a guy!"

Other fun fact: Tao from Shining Force is awesome.

Other other fun fact: If I ever become a moderator, all female members will be required to wear...

Yeah, I'd never seen the Yu Yu Haku Show before, but it was really good. The ending sucked, though.

Yeah it's got a really awful ending. The entire last saga is atrocious, and even the last bit of the Sensui saga is pretty lame. The high point is definitely the Dark Tournament.

Isn't the ending different in the manga?

I just finished the MegaMan GigaMix books. I watch One Piece whenever I can get the DVDs. Any other recommendations for anime?

Manga is WAY better in my opinion. Then again, I'm usually just a manga girl in general.

I think we should keep a counter for the number of people convinced to watch Gurren Lagann.

Daily Lives of High School Boys ended this week. 12 episodes of hilarity, and now there is a hole in my heart that surely won't be filled by any of the new shows this season.

Gurren Lagann is amazing. That's my favorite show ever. I saw it when it came on Sci-fi a few years ago. I own all episodes now.

Has anyone seen Eureka Seven? One of my friends was telling me that if I liked Gurren Lagann I would like that and wanted to get some opinions.
