Post and talk about your favorite boss fights here. Imma just list off a few of my favs to get the ball rolling:

BABY BOWSER:


OH SHIT THIS KID IS GONNA FUCK YOU UP! Everything about this fight is awesome. The music. The impending sense of doom as he approaches you ever so slowly then OH FUCK HE'S RUNNING I NEED AN EGG OH FU--

DEATH EGG:

You have no rings. No lives. And one more obstacle. What the fuck are you gonna do? Cry like a little baby or dodge his fuckin spikey arm attacks like a boss? Well you better decide quickly before Robotnik FUCKS YO SHIT UP!

There is no final boss in ME3.

I'm sure I'm bringing up ME3 a whole fucking lot these days and I'm sorry for that, I was just really invested in that series. If you wanted me to tell you all about it Comm, hit me up through PMs or on Facebook or something.

I meant in the sense of getting to the end and having a let down. I've heard people complain about what a let down the ending to ME3 is. Making some kind of analogy I guess.

Titan Joker was fucking bullshit. The bosses in City are so much better. Mr. Freeze especially, he's worthy of being in here.

I'm actually a fan of Thanatos from Secret of Mana too. Even though he isn't particularly difficult (read: exceptionally easy) the dialog before the fight, and the music just sets a really good tone for the boss. It's probably one of my favorite boss battle songs.

Ocelot MGS4- This boss basttle is unlike any other in MGS history. Ocelot mimics previous bosses in the series while their music plays and that's epic, but not as epic as the badass moves you get to perform that would probably kill anybody in real life, such as banging your opponent's head against the ship with your fist several times. It's a great finale to Solid Snake saga, and my favorite boss fight of all time.

Kefka- After going through 3 different forms of Kefka, each with crazy scary themes and graphics of their own, Kefka, now a giant purple godlike figure, tops the previous three battles combined with an epic quote, devestating attacks, and the badass theme Dancing Mad. Also, I like how you can use more than 4 party members for the battle.

Nemesis RE3- This guy is the scariest enemy EVAR because he's way faster than you, uses tentacles AND a rocket launcher to attack you, appears out of nowhere several times (I literally jumped off my chair and bumped my head on the wall when I first saw him burst through the window out of nowhere), and you finally get to finish him with the immortal line: "Alright pal, you want STARS? I'll give you stars!"

Lavos- This guy has 3 forms, each with very epic themes (Especially the third one with its hypnotic beat). The first form is basically all previous bosses into one, which is pretty clever. The second form, which kind of resembles Cell from DBZ, takes quite a while to destroy, but it's worth the time because then you get to fight his 3rd form, which is so powerful it warps you through time, all while reviving itself with its cores. It's a great finale to possibly the greatest game of all time.

Gigyas- Earthbound, honestly, is quite a silly game, so NOTHING could have prepared you for Gigyas! The thing is creepy as fuck, I mean seriously, look at its eyes! The battle is complimented perfectly by a creepy theme that will send chills down your spine, in addition to another line that simply gives you a weird feeling in your gut (You cannot grasp the true form of Gigyas' attack!). The producer of the game (Can't remember his name atm) was inspired to make Gigyas by a certain childhood trauma, and it definitely shows. This boss battle is the reason I love Earthbound so much.

Dracula Symphony of the Night- Die monster, you don't belong in this world! 'Nuff said.

Dark Dragon-
Since I'm one of the very few people who likes this game, I'm going to do this boss battle justice with AN EXTRA LONG AWESOME REVIEW.
At the end of Shining Force, you've taken out Darksol, but many of your fighters are down as well. You have to fight the Dark Dragon with the party you have left, and trust me it's very intense as you struggle to take down all 3 of Dark Dragon's heads while having to deal with the skeletons. In the end, with many more of your party members down, you finally manage to defeat the last head with Max, who uses a never-before-seen-in-the-whole-game attack, with an awesome animation where light comes out of the chaos breaker and finishes Dark Dragon for good. The moment you make the final attack on Dark Dragon was made even more intense for me because Max was my only character left, and I had one more hit, so I was worried about having to start over the whole boss battle and the previous, but then when I saw the special animation that killed Dark Dragon whilst my regular attack would've failed miserably, words could not grasp the excitement on my face as I realized I finally beat Shining Force. Then my excitment was cut short when Max had to give his life to save his friends. R.I.P. Max, you were a true hero.
*In case somebody else has actually beaten this game, yes I know what happens after the credits.*

Biggyman- You get to use a shotgun against this guy in a 2D section with music from the original game, and when you finally empty the gun into him, the second phase begins, which makes for a good time to use your monster form and gain plenty of BLOOD. After performing a finishing move on him, he SURVIVES, so you have to beat him again and... the next finishing move lets you RIP THE CHAINSAW RIGHT OUT OF HIS ARM AND USE IT AGAINST HIM. That section alone is reason enough to buy the game.

Danny- Near the end of Clock Tower, there is a giant red curtain. What's behind it probably isn't good, but you still have the urge to check it and... you encounter a giant purple baby that devours teenager (Yes, you read that correctly). After it starts chasing you, you have to tap the panic button as quickly as possible until you reach a pile of rubble (or something, I'm not quite sure what you have to climb) that you need to climb. The game automatically makes you slip down it once, but you don't realize that so you think you've made a mistake and you're going to die. So desperately, you continue tapping even faster to the point you climb to the top and burn that bastard alive. I feel this boss is genius just because of the fact is makes you "mess up" once just to make you panic.
