Megaman 2 is definitely my 2nd favorite game in the classic series due to its great OST and pretty good robot masters, not to mention the METAL BLADES.

I love both these games so much.
But I'm gonna have to say Metroid. It had a bigger impact on me.
The music was discordant and mesmerising.
The locations were frightening and well made.
The whole 'find your way' thing was incredible.

I still play this game often. It's great.

Mega Man is a great series (with some dark spots). Metroid is a great series (with some dark spots). Mega Man 2 is still a great game in 2012. Metroid 1 is not a great game in 2012.

Well, consider that I'm on a forum for The Megas and not The Metroids, I'm gonna vote for MM2.

Okay fuck you guys. Little Ninja Bros is like... the BEST game about ninjas on the fucking NES and MM4 was the first Megaman game that didn't get better than the last, kinda starting the trend of everything after 3 going downhill (except for 6 which acted like a ramp that gave megaman enough sick air and hangtime to skipp over megaman 7, 8 because they were so bad and landed him right back into 9 where shit was good again)


so in closing this tournament is clearly rigged and ran by biased parties who don't even accept votes for NBA Jam in the first place. You're lucky I don't start my own NES tournament.

This is probably the hardest decision I'll make this whole tournament. When I was scrolling down I saw Mega Man 2 and told myself this would be easy, until I saw the competition. I owned both growing up. They both had amazing music. Amazing "beginnings" to their series. Both have their own little secrets. I almost picked Metroid because of how many amazing covers I've heard of Brinstar and Kraid alone. However, I'm going to have to pick Mega Man 2 as a better game.
