I liked A2, i can't get into RE games period, and I'm just gonna chill with family and friends this weekend so I'm not gonna worry about games to play until around tuesday. Probably play some more Jak and Daxter or Skyrim. Don't knock final fantasy. I love final fantasy. Not VIII or VII though. X was my first and remains my favorite.

FF6. If you like FFX and want to play an even better game,
FFX is great. But V and VI beat it in a heartbeat.

I've never heard anything but good about FFVI. I have V on the gba. Fun game. Me and my cousin are playing some saints row 3 right now. He's never seen the game before. He lost his shit when he saw me drive the cyber tank.

Six is easily the best game in the series.

Well, since everyone is discussing classic games, I guess I'll add a few PS1 classics. Though I suggest getting my original suggests from (Splatterhouse, MK9, MGSHD Collection)

I see why you don't like Resident Evil 4, so I won't reccomend the first 3 games to you nor Silent Hill. Nor Dino Crisis 1-2. Even though all 7 of those games are the shit.

Castlevania Symphony of the Night- There are 4 endings, a giant castle to explore, RPG elements, and many more features (Including some of the greatest video game dialogue and music in history) that help to land this game its spot as the greatest Castlevania game of all time. Also, you can play as Richter after you beat the game as Alucard (Who by the way suddenly goes from a generic vampire to ONE OF THE GREATEST PROTAGONISTS IN HISTORY. Seriously, the dude is badass in the game).

Metal Gear Solid- It doesn't come with the HD Collection, but trust me- although this game has lameass graphics, the stealth elements are great, the voice acting is the greatest in PS1 history by far, the boss battles are intense, and the replay value is definitely beyond "good enough". This game is so good, it can make me listen to hours of codec calls at a time. I don't know any other game that made me this patient just to listen to backstories, hints, the plot, etc., except for... the sequels!

Final Fantasy 1/2- WAY better versions of the original NES games. They're actually playable now, have better music, and there's more content.

Final Fantasy 5- A game that manages to be serious and silly at the same time. While the weakest of the SNES trilogy, it's still a solid title and the job system kicks ass.

We already discussed FF6, so I'll move on to...

Final Fantasy 9- my favorite FF game. The music is great (You're not Alone anybody?), the art style completely fits with the game's lighthearted nature, the characters are lovable, and there are a ton of sidequests.
Also, Vivi is the greatest mage of all time.

Chrono Trigger- Probably my favorite game evar. I know you already played it, so I won't go deep into why the game IS THE FUCKING BOMB The DS version is better than the PS1 version, so I suggest getting it on 3DS (If it supports backwards compatability), but if it doesn't then get it off PSN.

Chrono Cross- Not as bad as some people say. The plot is great (Seriously, am I the only one who actually cares about video game plots? Yeah RE4's wasn't very good, but you usually play survival horrors for the scare factor, and RE4 is scary enough, but that's besides the point), Mitsuda's OST is wonderful as usual, the graphics are nice, and... the only part of the game I really thought was bad was the gameplay.

Megaman 4 Japanese version- While the first 3 MM games on PSN are basically the AC versions with a Navi Mode you can't understand since it's Japanese, the 4th one has a navi mode with AWESOME REMIXED MUSIC, you can OBTAIN NEW ABILITIES FROM DR. WRIGHT/LIGHT/RIGHT'S LAB, there is a MUSIC BOX TO PLAY THE SOUNDTRACK FROM THE MENU, you can view CONCEPT ART, there's a HARD MODE, there are EXTRA AWESOME MISSIONS YOU CAN PLAY, and I'm using FAR TOO MANY CAPS.

Crash Team Racing- A fun racing game starring the lovable Bandicoot. It's even more fun in 2-player mode. You get to use weapons against the other players that just may make the difference between victory and defeat. Plus there's an awesome story mode.

Crash Bandicoot 3- My favorite game in the series. There are plenty of challenges that you can try after beating the level originally, the level design genius, and it has quite a bit of lasting appeal.

Yeah, lemme know if you need any more suggestions. I've only scratched the surface of games you can play!

Metal gear solid is awesome. Final fantasy 9 is awesome. Final fantasy 5 is awesome. Chrono trigger was cool. Crash bandicoot 3 was the first Crash game I played and remains my favorite.
