They've said a lot of things (and they did while they were hyping episode 1, too), so at this point the only thing I'll trust as far as physics go is a playable demo... even gameplay vids won't cut it.

It looks like they've DRAMATICALLY improved every other aspect of the game though, so my skepticism is gradually melting away. In an ideal world, I'd still like to see them continue to refine the Generations physics (rolling: fucking... ugh... just make it work!), but I'd still be content if they just ported it over as is.

Keep in mind I was speaking more of how shitty Sonic Heroes is than how good the Adventure games are. Because they're not that amazing either. But they're at least enjoyable.

I can't think of anyone who would play Heroes and go "yep this is pretty good".

Play it, really, you will be surprised as hell when it's awesome all the way through. You'll feel like you're playing Sonic on your Genisis all over again.

Honestly, I'm pissed I don't have a Wii. Because I can't OWN it, I have to play it at friends' houses and such.
I watch Let's Plays of it all the time because it's sooo fun to just watch, let alone play.

When a game makes me feel nostalgia for a game I've never played before. Now that's a good game.
Case in point the fight with Metal Sonic on Stardust Speedway. Loved it in Generations. Stardust Speedway (Bad Future) is my ringtone.

Dude. I fucking LOVE Sonic CD. But yeah, JP Stardust Speedway is the best, I actually prefer the Present Version, but holy hell it's cool.

Wow. Much better use of the "urrhahrr" noise in Present. I honestly can't decide. Guess it'd depend my mood.

It's like comparing the American and Japanese scores to Dragon Ball Z. One is just so superior. I haven't played much of CD. But from the music I've heard. I so prefer the Japanese music.
