Started playing Arkam City earlier on this week and beat it a few days later. Considering I never got around to beating the first one, I didn't really know what transpired beforehand, but I enjoyed it, though it did get annoying when I felt like I was on a timer with how often Strange would say how many hours until apparently doomsday happened, so I would try to just run past some of the bad guys that I eventually got bored stealthily taking out. Still a good game, but wasn't game of the year for me.

Joker makes Titan, Batman makes a Titan cure, Joker injects Batman with Titan, Batman uses cure on himself, Joker injects himself with Titan, Batman beats the shit out of him, Joker goes back to normal*, Batman has further adventures until 6 months later Arkham City happens.

*normal as in un-titanified, as you're obviously aware the after effects make him sick.

I just beat Pokemon White about a week ago, and I gotta say, even though I haven't liked a new Pokemon game since GSC, I really enjoyed it. The new Pokemon are actually pretty awesome, and the type combinations are pretty sick, even if they originally seem kind of stupid. It even has a good storyline!

Other than that, I also just got and beat Sakura Samurai, but I kind of doubt anyone even knows what that is. Fossil Fighters Champions and Ghost Trick (maybe) should be next on my plate, even though Rhythm Heaven Fever, MGS3D and Revelaitons come out this month.

Please change this to (definitely) because Ghost Trick is one of the best games.

Yeah, no qualifier. It's fucking great.

I got into it for awhile and fell off because something else got in the way, and every time I try to go back to it I just get kind of bored. It's the same experience I have with Phoenix Wright 2. I hear the endings for both are great, so I'll keep picking away at it.

There are a couple of spots that aren't that compelling around the beginning but it builds to such a good crescendo through the entire game all the way to the end that despite me getting stuck and mad at a certain section for like half a year, when I went back and finished it, I was so glad I did.

Phoenix Wright JFA is just 3 shitty cases and an awesome final case, if possible I'd find a way to play a completed file and only do case 4 and maybe case 2 for story purposes (it introduces a main character, after all; actually two of 'em, now that I think about it)

I'm borrowing a friend's JFA, and have been for years, so I might just play the final case and give it back to him. It just doesn't draw me like the first one did at all. As for Ghost Trick, I generally pick it up every month or so, do a chapter and then just put it down in favor of something else. I will get around to it though, everyone keeps telling me how great it is.

In potentially one of the quickest turnarounds from "Hype Train" to "Currently Playing" threads, I got Gotham City Imposters. Everyone should get it. It's 15 bucks on XBLA/PSN/Steam/GFWL (i got the XBLA version) and it's hella fun.

Just got finished with the Mass Effect 3 demo as a Vanguard and I gotta say, it's fucking awesome, especially with kinect support. Battles are really fluid when you can just tell your characters what to do. I was fighting enemies all the while giving commands verbally and it really helped. For instance, I was running into enemies with both electronic and physical shields and all I had to do was say "liarra pull" and "garrus overload" and before I knew it I was tearing through enemies using the charge attack and the special melee for my class, which makes you feel like such a badass when you biotic punch someone across the room. It felt weird at first reading off the dialogue options, but I really got into it with my character. For other things such as opening doors or activating consoles, I just went along with hitting a button instead of saying just to make things faster. My only gripe with the vanguard class is in the demo you don't have shotguns, so it really is a big gamble when you charge into an area with just a pistol and rifle. Gonna play through with a few different classes to get a better feel of who I really want to play as when the game comes out.
The demo said it had multiplayer support but I couldn't connect, but I'm really getting the game for the single player, so I'm not too concerned about it. Also, you can customize your Shepard, so you don't have to play as a default setup and can level up your guy as well. The demo starts off at the beginning and also at a point later on in the game. So far so good!

Well I beat Lost Odyssey.

Good game. It's the Final Fantasy game that FF13 should have been but it came out 2 years before.
