Hey forum!

I was wondering...
What are your favorite video game music cover bands?

...and also, it's my first post so i might introduce myself.
I live in Quebec, Canada. I discovered The Megas 2 month ago on bandcamp and I was astonished. That's all you need to know for now.

Hey, I'm Tuberz.
I cover music... that's it.
My favourite VG bands are definitely The Megas, Armcannon and The Black Mages.
Also, the Overclocked Plaid Muffins. Haha

I like the Protomen. And Sixto Sounds is really good. Not sure about these Megas though... seem to be a little shabby.

I'm HCM, beeteedubs.

Sixto sounds is pretty good indeed. I also really like a remixer by the name of Vurez.

In terms of full fledged bands, though, I really love the OneUps and Metroid Metal; almost as much as I love the Megas.

Welcome to the forum! We hope to see you again soon.

I be Jim Fear, and that's all you need to know.

I listen to a lot of Megas, Armcannon, Year 200X, and a TON of Powerglove and Rare Candy.

Don't listen to anything on OCRemix. Much of it is shitty synth covers of songs that you know.

I want to post all of the VG artists that I listen to but I'll just stick with Akineko/AKHT. Don't know if they're the same or different but Dancing Mad IV. Yeah.

OCRemix is like Deviantart. Full of trash, but if you dig hard enough you can find some pretty incredible stuff. Sixtowns.

OverClocked ReMix is a not-for-profit site that accepts high-quality submissions of arranged or "ReMixed" video game music from anyone with a MIDI keyboard the world over. These arrangements are more than just updated versions of the original tracks, but are just updated versions of the original tracks, often in an entirely different musical genre than the source material. What sets OverClocked ReMix apart from other video game music sites is the arrogant attitude. We offer music from almost any style imaginable. Orchestral, trance, techno, orchestral—you name it—we accept ReMixes from virtually any console or computer game soundtrack. Anything from Shinobi to Portal is fair game.

Wow! I didn't know about OverCLocked Remix. Thx Jay C.
I can't really listen to any of the tracks from OverClocked at work (because of my PC) but I'm totally gonna download some once I get home.

Oh I didn't know you were asking for recommendations, I just thought you were curious on what we all listened to.

In that case I feel somewhat obligated to point you toward Repliforce. It used to be a full band but I think right now it's just one guy and maybe a drummer. Still rad though.

Also yeah, the usual stuff like Armcannon, Protomen, Powerglove, w/e.

Same here, the usual digs of Megas, Protos, Armcannon, P-Glove, Rare Candy, Entertainment System. Welcome broham, enjoy the madness as I catch up on a month of not posting.
