2010 was a good year. High School Graduation and all for me.
In terms of gaming, I remember that 2010 was set to be REALLY good. HeartGold/SoulSilver, Galaxy 2, Other M. Skyward Sword was set to be released in 2010 until we reached E3. It would have been grand to have those big four series all in the same year.
But then there's tons of stuff to look forward to in 2011. Skyward Sword, MM3 Album, 3DS, Pokemon Black/White.
I was excited for 2010. Turned out to be a great year. I am even more exited for 2011 in some regards.
And a little nostalgic for 2010.

My new years resolution is to be happy, which sounds corny and stupid, but for me it's really difficult, I need an entire attitude overhaul and a change of meds. Part of the reason my girlfriend left me is because I was so miserable all the time and I was dragging her down with me. Even if this doesn't bring her back to me, at least I'm taking a big step forward in my life, in many ways i'm a very mature, level headed person, but other ways I'm not and I need to change if I'm ever to succeed in life.
That's my new years resolution: Be truly happy for the first time in I can't remember when.

Good plan. There's nothing wrong with a mildly pessimistic outlook, it is afterall more realistic than a mildly optimistic outlook in many cases. However, it's easy to take people down with you, so I think you've got a great attitude in how your describing your resolution, and why you want to make the change.

I have the most negative attitude of any of my piers. Having a positive attitude has done nothing for me, because I wholeheartedly believe that it's impossible for me to be positive. I don't propagate this belief, I was just fucking around earlier when talking about anger. I was kind of making note of my resolution.
I'm gonna be a disingenuous dick in 2011, because that seems to be a recipe for success. The latter half of 2010 has shown me firsthand that people's judgments and interpretations of each other are artificially imposed pieces of their otherwise blank character. This isn't the case with everyone, but I've seen people go through job interviews, dates, parties, lectures, and presentations just lying through their fucking teeth to get what they want. And they seem to be successful.
Do keep in mind that this is all from my perspective, and I am a crazy person.
