I have worked in fast food and general public places for all my adult life all across the states and it's ALWAYS the boys bathroom that is notoriously nasty. Girls can be gross too, but the only times I've ever had to deal (Or narrowly escape dealing with) LITERAL SHIT and assholes purposefully tearing up a bathroom has been from boys. I will say that a lot of women though hover over the toilets and that makes them piss all over it which annoys the FUCK out of me. Were you raised by wolves? No? THEN SIT THE FUCK DOWN, GOD DAMN.

Have you ever been inside a house with a woman inside it? Maybe they're not AS bad in public (though my professional experience suggests otherwise), but I have NEVER seen a man's home bathroom become the inevitable jungle that is a woman's personal bathroom.

Seriously, I blame the menstrual cycle which creates tons of garbage and all of the things women need to get ready for sink clutter.

Fuck, I just came home from working at Walgreens and had to clean the women's bathroom. What a fucking mess. But in all fairness, it's Walgreens. Old people shop there, so I assume they constantly have diarrhea, which always makes it all over the fucking place. In other questions, how do you feel about women portrayed in video games? If women have such a big problem with how sexist it is, how would your characters look, both male and female, if you were to design a game? I'm only asking this after hearing about this feminist that's getting paid 150,000 bucks in kickstarter money to do ten minute videos on youtube discussing this issue. It's caused a lot of bro-douche gamers to freak the fuck out and pretty much lynch her ass on forums and other boards. I'm really interested to hear her thoughts on the subject and other women alike. Here's the video I heard about it from. http://www.escapistmagazine.com/videos/view/the-big-picture/5950-Tropes-vs-MovieBob

One of my FB friends posted an article about how that chick is getting the shit trolled out of her, expressing disgust over the gesture.
I secretly smiled inside. Does this make me a bad person?

I guess the thing I don't get is why people even payed her that much money. She's already a youtube partner that gets paid for her videos that she posts, and she was only asking for 6 grand, but fuck, SIX GRAND!!!??? Why do people pay for this kinda shit that other people do for free? It baffles my mind. I'd rather pay a kickstarter for a sequel to a video game I like or for a feature length AVGN film, which I totally did because it was something worth donating five bucks for.

Here's the video I heard about it from. http://www.escapistmagazine.com/videos/view/the-big-picture/5950-Tropes-vs-MovieBobI question that any media has any kind of obligation to tow the line of any movement good or bad. If the goal is to correct the perception of women in contemporary society then I would suggest people go back to the source and promote the concepts that make up good parenting and would set the basis for constructive perceptions and behaviors. Most forms of media don't particularly set social norms, they reinforce them. Just becuase a Movie, Game, TV Show assign a role to women, that doesn't mean they in particular came up with the idea. By in large it's "what's acceptable". Like racism, the only real way to eradicate negative behaviors to anyone in the long term is to address these issues when they are at their most impressionable, not when they're old enough to make these decisions for themselves. by that point most behaviors and perceptions are already hardwired and changing the content of any media isn't really going to go undo that kind of programming. Thoughts? Please bare in mind that I really do have a positive image of Women, I had an older sister and an Aunt that made sure of it.

I agree with you completely, Mega.
It doesn't bother me much at all how women are portrayed in video games (probably because I also enjoy a nice pair of titties) but that being said, Portal was probably one of my favorite games of all time and I am sure it had to do with the strong female nemesis and lead character.
Honestly, I would like to see more women in video games playing strong intelligent characters rather than throwing fan blades in a bathing suit but men make up most of the target audience for the video game industry and you have to cater to your audience. That's business.
I don't think that the scantily clad busty women in video games are perpetuating misogyny and I don't think if we took them away that the world would have any different view on women. Learning to respect all people regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religion or cup size is something children must be taught by parents not by corporate america.

I think the thing that interested me in the video was when Movie Bob pointed out that there's plenty of male main characters that come in all different kinds of shapes and sizes, but when it's women as the lead role, they're usually the same. I just think that seeing a video game that was designed by women for the female audience would be awesome and insightful at how different our views are just because of a chromosome. I'd also especially like to see how women designing a game would portray their ideal version of a male hero. Would he be some ripped hero like what we see all the time in video games, or would he be more feminine like?
I think Inyuasha comes to mind because it was a series that was created by a female artist and comparing it to another anime like Dragon Ball Z that was created by a male artist, there's a huge difference in how the males and females look.
One thing I always remember my art professor talking about was about how artists tend to draw their same sex a little bit more accurately than the opposite sex, and I kinda noticed that with how I would always draw females.

That comparison might be more valid if Inuyasha didn't suck.

Amen, sister. Especially since corporate America's not gonna do it... Oh, and for some reason, "women in video games playing strong intelligent characters" made me think of Samus Aran. (...Before this Other M business, anyway, at least from what I've been told. Nice going, Nintendo, allowing it to happen.) She's always been my favorite (or at the very least second favorite) female character in gaming. Yeah.
