Everyone fucking hates 2 and 3 but I personally enjoyed them. 1 is definitely the best though.

I loved the 3rd. 2 was alright, I think people just hated the whole "well now I HAVE to see the third one" ending.

Things get convoluted. The action sequences really come out of nowhere. I didn't hate 2 and 3, they just got a little stupid.
That being said, the franchise could have ended at the first one.
