I don't give a fuck about Amy Winehose. I also never cared for Nirvana, and I grew up around Seattle.
The only drug abusing person I've felt for (after they died) was Mitch Hedburg.

I don't care for Amy Whinehouse in either direction. I wasn't a fan, but I didn't hate her either. I am however sorry for her death and hope that her friends and family are ok in this time. Regardless of whether it's their own fault or not, it's always sad to see a life crash and burn.

Ignorant as that may be, by ignoring half of the information you are completely changing it's meaning. It's not unique to America for people to jump on the bandwagon. I don't know why people fall in love with a celebrity when they die despite their lifestyle decisions and how good or bad of a person they were. But you're only up in Canada, I'm sure you know at least one or two people who are all about Whinehouse right now. It's not like all of America is going crazy over her right now. _________________
