This is changing the subject, but I've just noticed that your avatar has tan legs.

Ok, how the fuck does that work? Care to explain that?
It's very hard to support morals (which can also have very little rational reason) without some higher power who has given out those morals.
Now, on the flip side, many atheists ARE moral. However, when I ask why they have those morals, they very often stumble and don't really have a solid reason. The most common justification is: "It's just... the right thing, ya know?" It is very easy to give up on morals that you don't know why they're the right thing, especially when no one is watching.
At the very least, I've seen that disbelieve in a higher power leads to a disbeleif in universal morals, which weakens the foundation of morality.

If you need someone to GIVE you your morals and a reason to help others, then you are not a good person.
And if a person gives up on their morals and begins intentionally hurting others, then that person is a weak-willed asshole, which isn't what being an Atheist or an Agnostic is about.

I would continue engaging in debate, but then I realized that that would be me trying to make you give a fuck. Which goes against the purpose of this thread. Thusly, I refrain.

This implies that "It's just right thing, you know?" isn't a valid reason.
I don't see atheists kicking baby seals off bridges because they don't care what's right.

There are these Duke Nukem ads on this thing called the internet. Why are they on my computer screen, I'm not gonna buy that game. I'm gonna buy Portal 2, and ignore the existence of most every other shooter and people (real/ficticious) who wear sunglasses inside. Who the fuck is Andy Warhol? Some weird jerk who wears sunglasses inside? Fuck that business.

So you're complaining that the marketing department for a game no one has been excited for since the 90s decided it might be a good idea to have an advertising campaign? My feelings on the game aside, it seems like expecting to never see ads on the internet (or any content-delivering medium, for that matter) is a fair bit unrealistic and expecting them all to be ads for things you're actually interested in is just as unreasonable.

Well remember who you're talking to, the guy who started this thread because he's a huge goddamn baby and decides his opinions on things before actually giving them a chance.

True; this is why I only argued the logical fallacy in his complaint instead of going with my instincts and yelling "BUT DON'T YOU LIKE TITS AND EXPLOSIONS?" (which to me seems like enough justification for liking any interactive experience).

My time and money is limited, so I can't afford to fall victim to hype (even though I still do). If I'm getting a game it either has to be unique enough to make me ignore its shortcomings (Condemned, Portal, No More Heroes) or do everything so well that the complete package is worth well over the asking price (Mass Effect 2, Batman Arkham Asylum, Half-Life 2 + Ep1/2).
My complaint about Duke Nukem is because even it's still coming out after all these years, it lost its relevance at the first delay. I actually don't know a lot about Duke Nukem, so I'm sorry if I have to rely on the glimpses of brief gameplay and voice work I've witnessed. If it actually has the genuine mentality of a big stupid/badass action flick, it can't really sell me on that because I already have Bulletstorm. If it's a parody or homage on 80's/90's action heroes, it still won't evoke I nostalgic feeling in me because there have already been a good deal of action parodies throughout the late 90's and early 00's.
The first Portal had tits and explosions. And they were meaningful tits and explosions.
