This video [of the protomen] is awesome. This dude took vengeance, and some clips from a japanese video, and made an awesome culmination awesomeness.

Fun fact: I saw this video long before I had ever heard of The Protomen OR Casshern. Probably about the same time I found out about the upcoming MM movie...
I didn't care for the song much, but I thought the video looked kind of neat. Almost makes me want to download and watch the actual movie. Someday.

My experience was basically the same as Fox's. This was the first exposure I had to the Protomen, way before I was reintroduced to them. I didn't know what to think...that was actually before I had ever played a Mega Man game, so the concept of a band that plays music based on Mega Man but that isn't actually from Mega Man was so strange that I basically shrugged them off.
The video did look neat, but the music just sounded like noise and I wasn't really vested in it, since I didn't know anything about MM.

As much as I like the story behind it, I still think that song is pretty "noisy" XD

It's still noise, but I've grown to like the chorus, at least.

The story's cool, and I don't dislike the song as a whole, but I wouldn't call it one of the stronger ones on Act I. It's between Hope Rides Alone and The Stand, and I love both of those songs, so I think it just ends up seeming like filler to me since it isn't quite as epic as either.

I just don't find it musically appealing in any way. Not my style. I'd rather just read the lyrics and skip to the next track.

I think The Stand is the best song on there, but I like the whole album a lot. (I think I actually listen to Due Vendetta the most often, but I wouldn't call it my favorite.)
but this has nothing to do with vengence gjyfvjgfyujgfyufuyjhndrhjdrhsdrhujrju
wait, that gibberish has to do with vengence, that's what the verses sound like
BAM, on-topic

Wha? The chorus is the noisy part...the verses are actually pretty easy to understand, in comparison.

Well, the instrumentation in the verses sounds like that. The instruments in the chorus are easy to make out. The voice is fairly easy to make out in the whole thing.
or maybe i'm just retarded
