Sad thing is it's pretty catchy with megaman music, He's got another one using Soulja Boy's Crank Dat with Tomahawkman's theme. Tae K is seriously amazing at mixing rap I'd never listen to with videogame music or other random songs and making the shit awesome.

I like ones like that where they actually remix the 8 bit song to fit what they're mixing it with instead of just playing both songs through and going 'hey look, they kinda sync up, niiiice'

I don't. It's the synergy of the two songs that makes the shitty part of the music interesting. Remixing the theme is like cheating, and it tends to blend the good part of the music in with the bad, instead of allowing the bad to ride on the coattails of the good.

Besides, while it may not have altered the original melody, the song I posted did mix the segments up to make it more fitting, rather than just laying the tracks down side-by-side.

Yeah, I may have worded my post wrong, I like when it drops parts of the song out and brings the different layers in at different times to fit the song, I didn't really mean remixing the actual 8bit song. And I also like when they use the normal unchanged melody when it's done right, but there are a lot of lazy ones out there that sound terrible. Tae K mostly just uses the original song, he might change the tempo or add some extra bass to fit the song better, but that's about the only changes he makes most of the time.

I'd post the Snoop/Kirby mashup but that's older than the internet.

Post it anyway, stinkdude would probably shit his pants at this new discovery.
