The thing that gets on my nerves is something like... Wonder Guard Spiritomb. An ability that prevents all damage from non-super effective moves. On a pokemon with nothing that gets a super effective hit.

Yeah I know I hate cheating so much. It pisses me off when I see someone do it. So I feel terrible about it... I once played Tetris Online and some guy cheated to have only straight blocks. That was the lamest shit ever. Plus is anyone familiar with the Irategamer? In his reviews (which suck by the way) he always cheat and I don't know I just want to strangle people who do that. *Punches self in the face* Why did I cheat to beat another! I feel terrible now.

Cheating is 100% acceptable no matter what so long as you don't
A) Do it in a multiplayer game
B) Attempt to say you've beaten the game/section legitimately
If you just wanna run through GTA or Goldeneye with every cheat in the book turned on that's fine, and if you want to barrel through all the gym leaders with a team of superpowered impossible dudes then that's also fine. Just don't say you've done it legitimately unless you already have in the past.
I went through Mega Man 10 on Easy Mode to farm cheevos and that's BASICALLY cheating but only after I had done it on Normal once.
This is probably one of the wrongest threads for this discussion to take place.

But yeah, I agree with JT. Both on the when cheating is ok for you personally, and on the outright sillyness that was that discussion in the Personal Picture thread. Until, of course, comm came along.
