Number 5 was one of the hardest Mega Man games I played as a kid. The final level is ridiculous.

Are these rare at all? I used to have both the MegaMan Xtreme games as well. Would love to have them again?

Going by amazon, yes and no. Depends on if you want a new cartridge or not.
