I wish you had some Fire Emblem experience because I'd like to know how similar they are now that I'm on a major Fire Emblem kick. I can't fucking wait for Awakening because it's basically everything I want out of a Fire Emblem, but it's not coming out until next year.

Yeah I'd wager Q1 since Nintendo translation jobs usually take around 6-8 months. Have you seen the new version of Reclassing? It looks so much more fun than the bullshit they added in Shadow Dragon.

I remember being excited one day when I found Shadow Dragon new for $10. Didn't play that for very long.

Something about reclassing in general feels like it takes away from the characters but who knows, maybe I'll like how they're doing it in Awakening better.

Well I sure as hell did. The way it worked in Shadow Dragon was there were three groups of 5 classes each, and depending on a unit's starting class they could change to four others. The way it works in Awakening, however, is each unit has their starting class and two others they can change into. I'm not 100% on this but I THINK that every unit is individual in their 3 classes, so you might have an Archer who can change into a Shaman or a Myrmidon. Then you'll have a Cleric who can change into a Pegasus Knight or a Mercenary. This includes your Lord and your Tactician, who also serves as a combat unit in this one. It's WAY better than Shadow Dragon's Reclassing, because like you said, it just made everyone interchangeable.

They also combine this with the return of Branching Promotions, so aside from the Lord whose basic Lord class only has one promotion, every character has a possible 6 promotions to choose from. And this isn't Path of Radiance's half-assed secondary weapon bullshit, this is full-on Sacred Stones "Do you want your Archer to be a Sniper or a Ranger?" branching.

Just finished Shadows of the Damned. Really cool game. If any of you guys didn't play it last year then I recommend picking it up at some point, unless you're absolutely completely against third person shooters. Plays like a way more mobile Resident Evil 4. Also a very good pace. Aside from Act 4, which is pretty bogged down by two different gameplay sections that I really didn't enjoy (one of which isn't as bad as people say but the other is pretty fucking terrible)

Digimon World on the DS. Love this game, too bad there's no one to battle with or trade digimon with.

Started playing Pokemon Black again to try and get as many Pokemon as I can before I get bored, started a Nuzlocke run on Soul Silver, and am still playing Valkyria Chronicles.

Did a really good playthrough of Hector Normal Mode of Fire Emblem 7 (the one simply referred to as "Fire Emblem" in America) and went through Lyn Hard Mode to get some exp for a couple of units before trying Hector Hard Mode. I forgot Hector Hard Mode was a fucking nightmare.

Played up to about halfway through Act 2 of Gears of War 3. Still Gears, still good.

I just found out The Last Story US release date has been pushed back again and is now July 31st. =(((

I've been getting back into Peace Walker. Played the Monster Hunter levels. I went in expecting to get my ass handed to me like I do when fighting the custom variations of most vehicles. But I only died once. After than I'd get in the zone and not get hit even once. Except with Tigerix. I barely survived that fight...

Does anyone else have the HD Collection version of Peace Walker? I need a second, third or even fourth player to tackle some of the custom vehicles with. Peace Walker Custom is just too much for one man to do alone. I've tried. If I remember right I actually ran out of supply markers the battle was so long...
