It's looking to me more like Megaman going into different game universes like street fighter and Ghost n' Goblins, they also showed a Bionic Commando cabinet in the trailer. It's also claymation, meaning that there will be California Raisins in the game.
Also might be something like LBP where you can make your own levels using themes bases on Megaman and other capcom games.
That's my guess anyway.
