I hated the controls in Mega Man 64... i've been told they were leaps and bounds better in Legends though.

Maybe the curiosity of exploring some UNTOUCHED RUINS doesn't intrigue others but I remember being dropped into the middle of that game and wanting... nay, needing to explore.
As for the controls, switch the R1/L1 and D-Pad thing. Worked for me.

I never had a problem with the controls, but then again, I was all about the resident evil at the time to the point where I'd fuck up on almost any other game with normal controls for awhile.

I never really understood the complaints about controls in the Legends series. Although different, I've never had a problem with them.

I keep hearing about how great it is, but if it's flawed fundamentally with its controls, I don't see how I'd stand playing it for extended periods of time. Maybe it does get awesome. I'll clean the cartridge someday and give it another shot. they're called tank controls ever played resident evil bro Capcom: Once the king of shitty controls and awful voice acting.

RE4 and 5 use the exact same movement controls as the older games, it just makes a lot more sense and feels more natural with the over the shoulder perspective they use now.

Even though I liked Mega Man 9 very much, it did have a strange inconsistent remix like vibe at times since it mixed up SFX from a lot of different Mega Man games that came before and also some music from Mega Man 2...
