I've pumped about 70-something hours into it already, and I've only had it two weeks.

I was pretty psyched about it for awhile but when I played it... ehh... The lack of a central story and any real characters like in past DQ games made me pretty disinterested. I really liked the combination of the Final Fantasy style Class system combined with DQ8's Skill Point system, but it really means almost nothing to me when it's 4 blank slate characters.
