Comparing two works by the same person and saying which one better represents that persons style/work as a whole.....i'm thinking Mega Man 2 vs 3?

Go for it... I'm curious as to how this will turn out.

Well, centaurman suggested maybe compare 2 to 7 or 8......I thought maybe even 9.
but with 2 and 3 I can devote maybe a whole page to the rushing and stuff which made 3(to some) a lesser game

Also... they are both pinnacles to the series. There is always massive debate on which is better. I'm sure you'll do fine with it.

Well, are we going to be bringing up the quality of the games, or the accuracy to the original vision? If the quality of the games is going to be a part of the paper, then you probably shouldn't bring up 7 and 8 due to public opinion on them, and you can probably just stick to 2/3/4.

yeah, quality is key...part of it is seeing whether it was better closer or farther away from his style.....I think?
