Anyone play this on PC? I've always been a huge BF fan, but I've been staying away ever since EA's been focusing on consoles. Last week I picked up BC2 for the PC, and surprisingly, I'm hooked again.

this game made me the happiest gamer ever when I could blast those fucking snipers out of houses with a well placed at-4 round or a m203. loved how to really win you had to work your class around what your teamates had. still think the snipers suck with the mortar calls and c4.

I just love playing medic and going kamikaze constantly to save teammates. The only problem is the unlock system...they took it a step too far. The medic, for example, should really start with a medkit and the defib. As it is, it's kind of tough for new players to do anything useful, and it also means you're stuck with one class until you unlock everything you want (or at least that's the way I'm playing it...not doing anything but medic until I've unlocked everything for it).

I played BC2 around when it first came out, thought it was pretty good, but never really wanted to buy it.
Just rented two copies the other day and played it non-stop online with a friend, I was playing engineer all day, he was playing recon or assault, Rush mode is the fucking shit. I think I might have to pick the game up sometime before the Vietnam DLC expansion comes out

Yeah, Rush is pretty amazing...you're dealing with areas so open that teamwork is absolutely required, and if you can manage to go lone wolf successfully, you feel like an absolute badass.

Just picked it up for PC because of the steam sale, didn't get Viet Nam, though, because I still wanted to have SOME reason to play my xbox version.

I decided against getting Vietnam as well, just because I know I'll never get around to playing it. It's gotten to the point that I only get a few hours a week for gaming, tops, and I usually waste it on Minecraft these days.
Still, give me your SN in-game and next time I get around to playing, maybe I'll join you. Last time I was on I was trying some kits other than medic to try to start unlocking things for those kits...I forgot how frustrating it is to start from scratch in that game.
