...though nothing's going to beat Strange Sunset. Ever. It's the best.

The Megas. They're this really awesome band that does rock remixes of megaman tunes. And they add these awesome lyrics! You guys should really check them out, I think you'd really like them!

Sorry, couldn't resist.

I love a lot of OSTs. I have every robot master's theme on my ipod, plus my favorite Wily themes, title themes, etc. I'm guessing you guys are all pretty well versed on that.

In terms of megaman, I have something like 421 songs... :)

While I'm on it, may I give another shout out to OC Remix's The Grand Robot Master Remix Battles. Some of the best include:
2010
Metal Man vs. Tornado Man
Also by Cerrex: Metal Man vs. Galaxy Man (Quality on this vid is a little fuzzy, but the actual file is great. Can't find a better one on youtube though)
Flash Man vs. Magnet Man

Grand Maverick Remix Battle (Same thing but MMX)
Armored Armadillo vs. Gravity Beetle (Can't find it on youtube, but this one's really good)
Blizzard Buffalo vs. Spiral Pegacion (Again can't find this one, so I'm gonna stop with the maverick ones now)

2011 Robot Masters
Hard Man vs. .... Hylian Lemon made a handy youtube video with samples of all his entries. Hard man vs. Air Man, Nitro Man, Spring Man respectively.
Bubble Man vs. Heat Man
Elec Man vs. Plug Man

And for all of those MANY more good ones. Those are just some of my favorites that could be found on youtube. Full download links are available at:
The Grand Robot Master Remix Battle 2010
2011
The Grand Maverick Remix Battle

Some Kingdom Hearts stuff (Most manly song ever for a manly guy with pink hair who's power is flowers. Somehow, he's really cool). OC remix had a great remix of Hollow Bastion (Above the Rising Falls).

Metroid Metal and The One Ups. Both great remix bands that most of you are probably aware of.

And this song from Metroid Prime 3 Corruption was the first time I really started appreciating the music in video games. Not that I hadn't liked it before, but I wasn't very big on it. This one, its just so powerful in the context of having to fight the person who saved your life because of Phazon (which you're trying to destroy and is also inside you!) 1:00 in is the sweet spot that I love. Rundas' Theme

I'm uh, gonna stop there. Sorry if I posted too much in one go.

Oh? Is it that time when I talk about how much I love the final battle of Banjo-Kazooie and Team Rocket's theme from Gold/Silver?

I think all of Banjo-Kazooie's music fits.

Srs, though, there's a ton of good NES/SNES songs that I have yet to hear covered. D:

Out of curiosity, could you point me to a few of those?

That's pretty weird considering (A) I'm not really active anymore and managed to see this post and (B) I wouldn't have even remembered that.

I do remember trying to learn the Athletic Theme, though. Apparently, I'm not a good enough pianist to play ragtime. Meh.

Back on topic--this is pretty much the greatest thing ever.
