Well it's true, then again, he's inconsistant often, in SA2 he can only make cimputer-esque noises, whilst in heroes he can speak, and his appearance changes often aswell (unless you want to argue mecha-sonic is a different robot, which if that were the case, then why would robotnik keep the old one around?), but then, Sonic has a different model in every game so it's somewhat forgivable.

Silver Sonic, Metal Sonic, and Mecha Sonic are different robots. Neo Metal Sonic (Heroes) is the upgraded/evolved form of the original Metal Sonic, and can learn Hyper Beam at level 34.

But I stand by my point, why would a man with an IQ of 300 keep a robot that has proven to be a failure? Did he rebuild all of the other robots that were destroyed, or is he just sentimental towards metal?

Besides, I don't think the original Metal ever really "failed", per se. You never actually fought head-to-head with him before Heroes.

You guys must suck at the game or something because whenever I play Robotnik kills me with that one thing that flies or some shit or if I do think I beat him he tells me to get all the emeralds and try dat shit again. He's a sneaky one.
