Been playing Operation Raccoon City, overall it's not a very good game. Gameplay-wise the game is pretty much Gears of War meets Left 4 Dead, but nowhere near as good as either game. It has some really good ideas, but never really delivers or executes on them well, there's not much of a story, and what little there is really is not explained, so if you don't know who side characters and minor villains from RE2 and 3 were, you're probably gonna be lost and left wondering who the fuck they are and why they are important. If you're a fan of the series you might be able to enjoy it, but take away the Resident Evil name and all the familiar locations from the old games and you're just left with a bad third person left 4 dead.

That's too bad about Racoon City.
I've been playin' me some Pikmin and Pikmin 2 in preparation for Pikmin 3. Can't wait for that.

Yeah, it's a bit disappointing, but to be honest it's pretty much exactly what I expected. I'd say it's worth a rental if you're a fan just to see some of the old locations in full 3D, that's pretty neat.

Blacklight Retribution is a free to play game that's pretty awesome. I was in the closed beta and it wasn't bad. Recently decided to download it again and see how it is, and holy crap is it a lot better, one of the few cases where it seems like the developer actually tried to fix and change things from the beta, plus it has a guy named Batman's Bukake, and he REALLY loves batman.

Free-to-play multiplayer FPS with a deep in-game market/economy for customizable loadouts.. I want to pick it up when I get a decent PC. How do you need to be sold on a free game? That air you're breathing? Guess what it's free.

Only because we live in America. It's different up there. They don't have as many free things.

The extended cut of Mass Effect 3 that has a little extra to the endings. Just finished one of the endings you have and I think this did actually improve it by a lot. There is also a new ending I didn't know about if you choose to be indecisive. I won't spoil anything, but so far so good!
Edit: They must have done something right because I teared up at one of the endings.

I thought I'd have to wait longer for those to pop out today.
Gonna go download it and see for myself, though, to be honest, I bet it's gonna be just as stupid (and therefore MORE irritating, because of the wasted opportunity to right a grievous wrong)... just with more epilogue to cushion the blow.

Is this free or do they expect people to pay for the ending to a game?

It's free like all the DLC so far.... so, at least they aren't kicking us while we're down. Hey, Gergus, which save file did you load? Extended Cut FAQ wrote: What save game should I load to play the Extended Cut?
After completing Mass Effect 3, a 'Legend' save is created prior to assaulting the Cerberus Base. To experience the Extended Cut DLC, load this save game and play through to the end of the game
I don't have anything labeled Legend, but I do have an autosave Cronos - is that it?
