A Japanese band I like is "Maximum the Hormone" Here is one of their songs:

You may have heard their songs in anime. Their songs are the second opening and ending for Death Note, as well as the ending for Airmaster.

I think they are awesome. Their best album is 'BuiikiKaesu' I think, but others are good too.
