Forgive me if this has already been brought up, but Entertainment System said that before they officially broke up, they wanted to finish the Megaman 1 music with The Megas. Is this actually going to happen, or on it's way to happening?

You're just as lost as we are. They mentioned this on their facebook So we are on hiatus, its indefinite. However we had such a great time at magfest doing megatainment that we decided that we are gonna complete the album aka record the 4 "lost" songs that got written after the first 4 song EP and perform all 8 songs live at bit gen 7. whose looking forward to a newly remastered and re songed megatainment album and live show?!?! They also posted this on their twitter shortly after. now taking suggestions for the Megatainment PLUS album cover (what do you guys think about calling it Megatainment PLUS?) I haven't seen any of them on facebook say anything else about it though I do believe they've been super busy with their B.R.O.S. thing _________________ exoskell wrote: Also… know that you are not and were not ever just fans to me. Okay. I was just wondering cause I think that would be freakin awesome. I do hope this means they'll be at MAGfest this coming year cause I'm going as Elecman

Yeah. I know I want it bad too. However, NOT getting another MegaTainment meant that we for sure got History Repeating: Blue and possibly Red.

Well, then I don't regret not getting a nice new Megatainmet album XD they already did the songs I actually like from that game, and History Repeating is more than awesome enough to make up for the missing music.

Oh, I see you finally joined the forums. Was gonna ask in the Nerdapalooza chat but I had to VAMOOSE!
so welcome and all that. (reminder = next to you at BitGen)
On topic, I asked one of the Meggers at BitGen and they told me they didn't know what they were doing after the next HR album, and I asked about this and they mentioned what Jay C pointed out - their hiatus. They (The Megas) were ready to do it at some point, but then ES wasn't ready to do it, and etc, etc. One of the Megs said that "it might not even happen" or something along those lines which made me sadface :/
Anyway.
I really, really hope they do it because I <3 Gutsman's theme and want to hear it!

The last podcast (Feburary) made it sound like it is a definite, if eventual goal.
We don't know when, obviously, but it still sounds like it'll happen eventually.

I believe that the next, and final, 4 MegaTainment songs are already tracked out, they just need to record the instrumentations and send them to The Megas. Glad to see there's still interest in Megatainment: Powered Up! Like I said about twenty years ago, there are four more songs, they've been fully arranged, and rearranged to accommodate a fourth guitarist and two keyboardists. At first it was put on hiatus until the Megas finished History Repeating, then ES went on indefinite hiatus, then Random Battles (my band with Andy, who played drums on MegaT) started work on their full length while the Megas went to work on Red, so it's been in limbo. I fully plan to force everyone else in ES to record their parts when I move back to Maryland this winter. I also plan to remix Megatainment and release the whole thing as a full album. And yes, Guts Man and Cut Man both have their own songs, and they're easily my favorites out of the whole bunch. And no, the other two are not Time Man and Oil Man, as Josh refused to believe that they exist. So for now, there's no real timetable, but there is hope. In the meantime, bug ES and the Megas on Facebook and let them know you want Megatainment: Powered Up to happen!
