I FUCKING KNEW THOSE LINES WERE PROTO'S LINES! =DD

But with people saying the initial line was "you sons", it just didn't make sense.

So much cooler this way. Megas > us.


EDIT: I also REALLY like to think that the chorus between the two Proto verses is ALSO Proto, or a duet between the two. I love thinking that they both have that same desire, just for completely different reasons.

I agree with Chaotic Fox. I think it would be totally rad if one of the choruses was sung by Proto Man.

The best part about this album IS it's ambiguity. To be honest, a lot of the non robot master songs can refer to Proto Man.

I was listening to One Last Time again, and when it got to the line that was thought to be "you sons" but is written in the official lyrics as "and he says", I didn't think it sounded anything like "and he says". Is it just me?

Actually, from the first time I heard it I thought it was "he says". I was VERY confused when I saw "you sons" posted.

i don't know. I keep playing that line over and over again and now I hear "you says"

I feel like this might be a stupid question that's probably been answered already, but I can't seem to find it looking through this thread...

Are both of the lines in the second verse Protoman's? "Beytrayed my father again" makes no sense coming from Mega Man, but the first line of the second part seems to make it fairly clear that it;s the only one that Protoman says.

The official lyrics on the main site clearly label which line's are Proto's.

As for the "betrayed my father again" (which is one of Mega Man's lines), I think he's referring to Wily having betrayed Light.

imo, there's an implied "you've" that would make the line read:

you've betrayed my father again
this is the last time
I'm the Mega of Men
today the end begins

Which basically says "I'm coming for you, fuckhead"

I can't add anything here that hasn't already been said except that I can't stop listening to it.
