Are you absolutely sure the line is "Hi Rock" and not "I rock"? Blues randomly saying one line seems odd...

Oh lord let's not go down this path again.

I was thinking the whole part 2 was sung by proto / blues. That's why "I’m the Mega of men." was throwing me for a loop. I was rationalizing it as him being jealous of Megaman.

Can you link to where this has already been discussed, because I'm pretty curious.

It's pretty audibly clear that it's "hi", regardless of how much sense you think it makes.

(spoiler: it does)

Some suggested changed to the lyrics.

"What you start to realize is, you're the only one." Mega is all alone on this. No one is really helping him, and he's finally coming to the realization that he is all alone. Flying dog not withstanding.

"Will any choice that we make, matter at all?" almost like there's a hopelessness about whether or not what they do will change anything, and I think overall that's the direction Mega's demeanor has been going for awhile.

I also don't think it's "betrayed," last listen through it sounded like they just said betray, but I get the feeling it's more like "betraying" be it for Wily betraying Light or if it's Mega betraying Light's wish for Mega to fight and kill Wily ("This is the last time" I'm going through with all this.)

These 2 verses are sang by 2 different people, I don't know who though.

Well I'm assuming the person that says "you sons..." is Light since he's their dad and I don't know who else would say that (although I'm not really sure where he came from). I'm assuming that the person saying he's won before is Megaman since he's already defeated Wily twice.

It's Megaman and Protoman.

I'm not entirely sure on the "You sons" part, but basically it's phrasing it how Wily/Light would, and both sons are realizing that these are tough questions.

Also, after double checking that verse, I'm not not certain he says "you sons" either. Josh's either singing that word in the weirdest way possible, or we're hearing it wrong.

I'm hearing "says, sins, or sense". None of those make any grammatical sense, but I'm beginning to think it's definitely something completely different from what we've been going off. It almost seems like there are more words there than we're hearing. Like "you sense this is why do you fight". Which still doesn't make sense, but that's almost how many WORDS I'm hearing, I just can't make out what they are and in what order.
