I play a bit of guitar. And by a bit, I mean five chords and I can somewhat maintain rhythm. Though I've had the skill to read sheet music since I was 9.

I got a pair of 14" Meinl Classics Custom hi hats today. I got them on eBay for way cheap and they're awesome.

An Ibanez SRA 5 string bass with EMG HZ pickups, or humbuckers, never can remember what they're considered. Also the 600 watt Peavy TNT bass amp. Had this for a while, just never posted on the thread. Also have had a Fender Mandoline for a while as well. Pretty awesome instrument when you take it out of country music and into other genres.

5 String Bass? <3 Marry Me. 6 strings are boss. But I've only seen one REAL person use them correctly. He was freaking boss at Jazz bass... but he played ALL kinds of music.

Well I started playing bass after playing guitar for quite a few years, so I'm no Victor Wooten, and I still play with a pick. I tried out the six string and as hard as it was to pass it up, I knew my hands where just a little too small to be able to play it effectively.

I'm actually not a big fan of SG's. I prefer big Jazzy Hollow Body guitars. ... Which is silly cause I listen to a good deal of metal.

Oh yeah forgot about guitars. A ESP Viper with EMG's and an Epiphone AJ series acoustic electric. All tuned down to Drop C, cause it's the bomb digitty.

Yeah I still play stuff in standard as well, but I just throw a capo on it so I'm not tuning up and down all the time and pissing off my truss rod. It kinda makes you think a little bit more when when you have to play something higher up on the neck, so I like it. I'll just keep doing that until I can afford a Morpheus Drop Tune pedal.
