I havent seen any info of it on the boards but has it been said that the megas will be doing a song about the return of the MM2 robot masters in the MM3 album?
They do make a cameo appearance in the game, and quite frankly I'd love to hear a collaboration song from the eight and how they were brought back for one last fight.

No official word. I asked Greg about it sometime last year, or the possibility of a Doc Robot song. At the time he said they had considered it and weren't entirely sure if it would happen as they still had a lot of work cut out for them with the main stage themes and deciding what other songs would be included.
That was quite awhile ago, like I said, so a lot could have changed, not sure if there's been any official word on it since then, though.
I guess is the perfect time to say this again, MM2 and 3 boss battle medley for Doc Robot, make it happen.

The keys and modes are entirely different.

They could just play the first 4 in MM2 boss, have one of them say "SHIT'S ABOUT TO GO DOWN" then play the remaining 4 in MM3 boss. None of us would question it either, it would make legit sense.

Exactly, MM2 boss theme, then "SHIT'S ABOUT TO GO DOWN", badass solo to distract us as they make the transition, MM3 boss theme.
